In my Bible study this morning (out of 1 Peter 1) I read this statement:
"In a world of increasing wickedness, we have got to be prepared for a fight and develop an enduring tenacity."
The dictionary defines "tenacious" as this:
1a: not easily pulled apart:cohesive
1b: tending to adhere or cling especially to another substance
2a: persistent in maintaining, adhering to, or seeking something valued or desired
Here's what I wrote in response:
BE TENACIOUS! Pray for more love of Jesus. Pray to be in love with Jesus. Adhere or cling to Jesus. Be persistent in maintaining your walk in the Spirit! Don't wait for things to start slipping....maintain, be disciplined, seek out the Word consistently, hourly, moment by moment. BE TENACIOUS!
Tenaciously His,
Margie
May Verse of the Month
Isaiah 40:31
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
